What is the difference between adobe updater, acrobat, reader?

I just got my computer back after my brother fondled around with it and now I have adobe updater on it. Im not even really sure what the acrobat is used for...

DELETE ALL OF IT.......WHO CARES WHAT IT IS - ALL OF ACROBAT AND THE OTHER MALWARE IT INSTALLS IT ALL CRAP - UNNECCESSARY CRAP... DOWNL;OAD AND INSTALL foxit software goto www.foxitsoftware.com and download their free foxit reader its smaller, faster, and better in every way - everyone who Ive shown this program to, swears they will never use acrobat for .pdf files again... Adobe Photoshop is a different matter altogether...and it an awesome program......HUGE.....but awesome...

Updater = updates Adobe programs like Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. Acrobat = application that edits PDFs. It can also read PDFs. Reader = application that can only read PDFs.
